  1. Missing you Jennie! Tracked your flights and seemed that they were on schedule, so that was good and 2nd one shorter than you thought. Hope you get good rest and have a great start to an incredible week seeing God at work. As Rosa says “Vaya con Dios!” and know that you are being prayed for. Love you much!!!!

If you can remember on Monday, be praying for the little guy I care for as he is having very tricky heart surgery that day. She said he was happy as can be yesterday while recovering from his heart cath…I had him for 2 hours in the morning before he went to the hospital yesterday.
    Love,

  7. Thanks for getting to me everyone! It has been difficult for me to get on the blog because I just love being down in the orphanage being with the most precious little kiddos ever!! Building homes for families in the village was incredible.Dedication day was spectacular and I’ve never experienced anything with that much spiritual joy. It was an absolutely amazing time with many tears and smiles shed all for Christ. I’ve seen TONS of ADORABLE dogs and I want to bring them all home with me!! Even though we aren’t supposed to touch them because of flees or ticks I still pet them and hug them because I just love them! Most of the dogs are scared of people, but I have found a few to become buddies with 🙂 Today is the first day of going to Medical Clinics and tomorrow we will do another one. This week has been so awesome and many more friendships have been made, or made stronger/closer. It will be extremely hard to leave. God is great.

  8. Thanks, Jennie for your update add it was good too great a personal word from you. Enjoy the adorable dogs, but leave them there for others to enjoy : ) Hopefully we won’t have to give you a flea dip when you get home, lol
Praying for a powerful day today and for tomorrow for the medical clinics…May the Holy Spirit be actively moving in the heart of the people served, their families and those who serve. I know in many ways the servers are blessed as much or more than those being served.
Love you, miss you and can’t wait to see you and hear all about it. Abby, aka Buckwheat, was seen speeding time in your room sniffing, especially at your bed, probably wondering where you are : )
    Love you, Madre

  9. Hi Jenny. I have tried to get a blog to you for a couple of days. No soup for me…lol. I have written a blog before this one and my computer ate it. I will try to recap. I was reading a definition in the dictionary about the word “Pilgrim’. The words that popped up were traveler, pioneer,,newcomer, and devotee. I wondered what ‘pioneer” would say so I found out. The words that described it were forerunner, originator ,leader…etc. The next word that popped up was ‘Piety’.,believer,Christian, grace, salvation, redemption, faith, worship, veneration; All these wonderful words describe you and the others that are with you. Not many seek a peoples’ culture in their own home. It takes special God Loving individuals to do God’s work. You are one of the chosen and redemption is yours. I have lit a candle for you and the others and many prayers have been said for your Mission. Soon you will be back in your own culture and things will never be quite the same. Re-entering this time will take its toll on your emotions and you will need lots of prayers and acceptance of the Lord and His decisions. Remember you are young and you will have a long time to find answers. God is Good. We leave judgment to Him. As for you my sweet woman, Keep your eyes on the Bible, your parents, and the Good that IS truly in God. Let your Pilgrim, Pioneer and piety strengths grow within you. God Bless and of course…PTL!!!
